Ready Player One, by Ernest Cline

You can read about this book here.

This awesome book is about a futuristic dystopia, in which Wade’s only hope is to solve the riddles left by the creator of a complex virtual reality.  He must obtain the keys and find the egg, while pitted against ‘the sixers’, who are after all the same things as Wade and will stop at nothing to win.

This is a really good book. I particularly like futuristic dystopias (as you can probably see from the books I’ve reviewed!) and this is a really good example of the genre. Although this book would be particularly fun for gamers, it’s such a good story and so well written that most people would enjoy it. I was 8 when I read it, but I guess it’s really aimed at teenagers.
